Independence Day 3-6-2015

The 58th Anniversary for Independence in Ghana. We attended the celebration at the large parade grounds. The stands were packed-we had a hard time finding sets. First they had a parade of all the military and other services like the police, fire etc. There were also many school children that marched in and stood at attention as the president came in. It was very hot and we watched several of the children pass out and have to be carried out on a stretcher. There was a fly by of a couple of jets. We left before the president gave his 2 hour speech.
